چکیده
Wire arc additive manufacturing achieves high efficiency and low costs by using a melting wire for directional depositions. Thermal analyses the finite element method have been applied to predict residual stress deformation of fabricated parts. For Ni-based alloy production, predicting solidification microstructure evolution with segregation is needed in order design precise heat treatment procedures. In this study, multi-phase field coupled CALPHAD database developed simulate practical alloy. model were performed process modeling multi-pass depositions running cyclic arc. Solidification was obtained temperature profile each deposited layer method. These predicted microstructures are compared experimental measurements. It confirmed that effective engineering alloys.

A quantitative multi-phase field model of polycrystalline alloy solidification
A multi-phase field model for quantitative simulations of polycrystalline solidification of binary alloys is introduced. During the freegrowth stage of solidification, the model exploits the thin-interface analysis developed by Karma [3] in order to realistically capture bulk phase diffusion and the sharp interface corrections predicted by traditional models of solidification. During grain boun...

متن کاملPhase-field formulation for quantitative modeling of alloy solidification.
A phase-field formulation is introduced to simulate quantitatively microstructural pattern formation in alloys. The thin-interface limit of this formulation yields a much less stringent restriction on the choice of interface thickness than previous formulations and permits one to eliminate nonequilibrium effects at the interface. Dendrite growth simulations with vanishing solid diffusivity show...
